![]() ![]() If I choose another color I can Drag that over and place it in any position there but only in those first three spots. So since I have one there I can put it before or after that first one. This is a linear list so you can't position it somewhere later on. I could put it before or after that chip. So I can set a variety of different colors in here. I've got that saved color and if I want to select it all I need to do is click it and notice here the color is set to that. Now if I switch over to Pages with the text selected I can bring up the Color Picker and notice the chips are still there. Now you can see I've saved it here to this first position. To save one all I need to do is Drag and Drop like that. Over here I have these small chips where I can save these to. I've got this big chip here to the left showing me the current color selected. I can save that really easily using these chips below. I'll go from darkest all the way to lightest here. So I can choose anyone of these modes for the Color Picker. So for instance let's use the Color Picker here to change the color of this. This means you could save colors in one app and use them anywhere. Now the Color Picker works on different apps on your Mac but it's part of a system. Notice the little button here and it brings it up. ![]() Usually one of those ways is to choose the Color Picker. Even third party apps like Pixelmator Pro you can choose the color several ways. If I want to change the color, notice I've got that Show Colors button, and now I've got this same Color Picker. If I go to Pages and do the same thing and click the little Color Wheel icon there which usually is used to show that you're going to go to the Color Picker you get the same exact Color Picker. I can click here and then I can choose one of the colors here shown as a color chip. For instance, I'm here in TextEdit and I choose some text.
